Türkiye Wealth Fund receives EUR 1.25 billion syndicated loan

Türkiye Wealth Fund successfully completed EUR 1.25 billion syndicated loan with the participation of 14 banks from 11 countries across Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

The transaction marks the refinancing of the EUR 1 billion syndicated loan from March 2019 with participation of 4 additional banks. Compared to the 2019 transaction, the margin for the 2-year syndicated loan has been improved by 25 bps to Euribor + 2.25% per annum.

ICBC acted as the Lead Bookrunner and Joint Coordinator while Citi acted as the Bookrunner, Joint Coordinator and Documentation Agent on the transaction which received EUR 1.4 billion total commitments. HSBC plc acted as the Facility Agent.

Arab Banking Corporation, Emirates NBD, HSBC, ING, Intesa Sanpaolo, J.P. Morgan, Qatar National Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation joined the syndication as Mandated Lead Arrangers. Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, Bank of America, Barclays and Société Générale acted as the Lead Arrangers.
