TWF Among the State-Owned Investment Funds with the Greatest Improvement in GSR Score

Türkiye Wealth Fund continues to strengthen its performance in governance, sustainability, and resilience each year. TWF increased its GSR score by 4 points compared to last year, reaching 84%. As a result, it became the third fund in the world to achieve the greatest improvement in performance since 2020.

The 2026 GSR results, in which sovereign wealth funds and public pension funds worldwide are assessed by Global SWF under the pillars of governance, sustainability, and resilience, have been announced.

According to the results, Türkiye Wealth Fund increased its GSR score by 4 points compared to last year, reaching 84%, and ranked 20th among the 100 sovereign wealth funds included in the assessment.

TWF emerged as the third-best performing fund in terms of overall improvement over the past six years, having increased its score by 68% since the study was first conducted in 2020.

The report also highlighted Türkiye's progress in the country rankings. Türkiye rose to 12th place in the assessment, ranking among the leading countries. Global SWF's assessment also noted that TWF continues its efforts to strengthen its institutional capacity by adopting international best practices.

Türkiye Wealth Fund continues its efforts to enhance the sustainability performance of its portfolio companies, while working toward its objective of creating long-term value for the Turkish economy. TWF shares its practices and performance in this area with the public through its Integrated Annual Report, published each year.

Having performed above the global average in the GSR assessment for the past four years, TWF continues to reinforce its steady progress in governance, sustainability, and resilience at the international level.

About the GSR Assessment

Prepared by Global SWF, the GSR Scoreboard evaluates sovereign wealth funds and public pension funds against a total of 25 criteria under the pillars of governance, sustainability, and resilience. Based on publicly available information, the study generates a percentage-based GSR score for each fund. The assessment is updated annually and covers the world's 100 largest sovereign wealth funds and 100 largest public pension funds.
